Dr. Tar'kesa Colvin
Dr. Tar'kesa Colvin is a wife, a mother of four (including two fur babies and one very spoiled grand-kitten), and the founder of iNow Publishing. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and Management, along with a Bachelor's and Master's in Business Administration, and spent over 20 years in healthcare management and operations before fully stepping into her role as an author and publisher.
Storytelling has run alongside her professional career for years, not after it. She is an international bestselling author who has written and published more than 19 books in six years, spanning crime fiction, Southern Gothic family sagas, speculative YA, and leadership-focused non-fiction. She has also hosted her own TV show, reaching an audience of 4.9 million viewers and picked up by Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire, and her writing has been featured on platforms including The Huffington Post, Thrive Global, and Addicted 2 Success.
iNow Publishing exists because that range of work — fiction, non-fiction, multiple genres, multiple voices — needed a real structure behind it. Rather than compress decades of storytelling into one identity, Dr. Colvin built iNow Publishing to be the legitimate home for it: a proper publisher of record for the imprints and pen names it houses, and a place readers can trust.
Her background in leadership and operations shapes how the company runs. Her belief in the power of story is why it exists at all.
